The Royal British Legion's founders believed that Remembrance should educate people about the realities of conflict and emphasise the importance of peace. Poppy Travel School tours, along with the Legion's Schools' Programme, are part of that aim.
Our tours give students a direct and memorable experience of history and culture, tailored to your curriculum. By visiting and engaging with battlefields, cemeteries and monuments, young people — whether from schools, or other groups such as youth clubs, Guides and Scouts — can realise the significance of Remembrance on their own terms.
Our expert guides lead groups through the episodes of history, and bring it to life with resources including Servicemen and women's testimony, poetry, maps and artefacts - as well as information about people from students' own families and local area where possible.
Our range of tours is always growing, so if we don’t have what you want this year, please call us (0845 602 2482) and we can discuss your preferences. We will do everything we can to help you plan an unforgettable trip.
Prices quoted on tour pages include Royal British Legion guide, executive coach travel, entrance fee(s).
"The trip was a success and a good time was had by all"
